Rental requirements?
All drivers must present a valid driver's license, Cash deposit or a valid credit card on their own name. Full coverage insurance is required on all our vehicles. We also provide insurance for a fee for those renters that don’t carry full cover insurance protection for their rental vehicle.
How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle?
You need to be at least 21 years of age in order to rent a vehicle from Tolsy Luxury Cars and have a good driving record, 21 to 24 are subject to additional charges (underage drivers)
Traffic Tickets
The renter is responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle is being rented and must pay for any fees, penalties, towing charges, or impound costs.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
There is a cancellation fee on all reservation cancel prior to 30 Days of the reserved pick-up date and time. Reservations canceled 30 Days or less to the reserved pick up date and time will be penalized, a one day charge based on the reserved rate and a additional fee of $85.00 will be applicable. Deposits are not refundable only a future credit will be issue when reservations are not canceled, and/or customer does not show.
Mileage
Daily and weekend rentals include 150 miles free per day. Each additional mile driven will be subject to a charge at the stated mileage rate.
Do you require a credit card to rent a vehicle?
No, We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.
you must present a valid credit card in the renter's name at the time of the rental or pay in cash. For those paying with a credit card, an authorization approval will be requested prior to the rental to be used as a deposit. This is only an authorization, and not a charge. The authorization amounts range depending on the type of vehicle.
Additional drivers?
Additional drivers are allowed, as long as they meet the same requirements as the primary renter.
Do you offer airport shuttle service?
Yes, we can arrange shuttle service from Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale.
Do you deliver the rental vehicle?
Yes, we deliver the vehicle anywhere in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach area for your convenience.
Are your cars allowed out of state of Florida?
We do not allow our vehicles to be driven outside the state of Florida.
Is smoking permitted in the vehicles?
No, we do not allow smoking in our vehicles. A cleaning charge may apply if this policy is violated.
What is the your fuel policy?
All vehicles need to be returned with the same amount of fuel as when they were picked up. Otherwise, a fuel charge of $6.95 per gallon will be applied to your rental contract. Also all our vehicles requires Premium fuel recommended by the manufacturer, means that you cannot use other type of fuel that is not premium. You will be responsible damage caused to the engine by not using the recommended fuel by the manufacturer.
If I get into an accident, What should I do?
First, get medical attention if needed. Secondly, for your own protection, and insurance purposes call the police an file a police report. Then, contact us as soon as possible so that we can advise you what to do next.
If my vehicle breaks down, what should I do?
Since most of our vehicles are new or late models and well maintained, It is unlikely that a breakdown will occur. However, if a breakdown does occur, call us right away and we will take care. Do not do any repairs to the vehicle without authorization from Tolsy luxury Cars.
